Pontiac Bay Symphony Orchestra is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit, incorporated in the State of Washington, and is supported by private donations, corporate contributions, foundation grants, and by its concert ticket sales.
In addition, the orchestra continues to be free to the participants.
Pontiac Bay also has minimal administrative expenses and all funds are used to support the orchestra and concert season. Concert production expenses alone include rental fees for the rehearsal space and venue, music rental and purchase, guest conductor compensation, insurance, equipment rental, program printing costs, and publicity.
